Pon Otonimi Finansye (POF) translated to English as Bridge to Financial Self-Sufficiency is a 48 month program designed to help our members in Haiti become financially self-sufficient.
On top of lack employments and access to capital, Haiti has been hit with so many natural disasters. So many people have lost their livelihood. Relief was needed, but people need to be self sustainable. Our Haitian people do not need handouts, but they need opportunities. You can make a difference today by helping a family become financially self-sustainable.
We believe that everyone should be able to provide for themselves. However, not everyone is as lucky to be financially self-sufficient. This is why we take action to educate people about money, provide them with entrepreneurship training, and help them get access to capital.
Action Bridge launched this program in June 2015 in Cap-Haitian, Haiti. We started with 7 individuals who had no way of earning a living. We train them. And through micro credit, they were able to start a small business and be on the road to financial self-sufficiency. Now with dozens of families in our program, we need your impact investing donation to help more people sustain themselves. Can we count on you?

How does it work?
1- You make a one-time social impact investment donation of $400 or $30/month for 14 months in a less fortunate family in Haiti to help them start a small business and earn their living instead of waiting for a hand out.
2- Action Bridge will give free financial literacy and entrepreneurship, teach them how to read and write if needed, help them start a small business through micro credit, and sponsor one of their children education to help them in their expenses.
3- Upon completion of the program, your friend and/or relative or your sponsored person will have a business plan and their future income goal to be achieved in at least 4 years
4- Action Bridge will help them to manage their venture and do evaluation to ensure they are on track to financial self sufficiency.
5- Every time they finish repayment, we will loan them the money until they become financially self sufficient in at least 4 years.
